Classic 1999 红大益 Red Da Yi Brick. Four bricks in a paper wrapper, individual bricks are not wrapped, nor is there a nei fei (inner ticket) pressed into them.  As such, this is a tea that is often faked, and there are many fake versions on the market.  Once you taste this you ll understand clearly why it s sought after (and imitated). 

Kunming dry storage has patiently transformed this tea into something incredibly complex and powerful.  It has a thick body, pungent aroma, aged ripe taste, and some betel nut-like aftertaste that is paired with creamy thick pungent taste feeling.  This tea can go many steeps and we recommend boiling the tea in a saucepan for a few minutes after you ve brewed it gong fu style.
